On 26th January 2013, MailOnline published a piece about Which? Money research into short-term loans advertising on children’s television.

The article mentions Wonga as one of the “highest spenders on adverts shown on Channel 5 during the breakfast slots, at which time kids' television programmes are broadcast.”

Wonga’s view

Wonga has always had a strict advertising policy and we never place commercials on television channels dedicated to children.

We also never target children’s programming on other ‘mixed-audience’ channels.

Our service is only available to adults aged 18 and over and our media buying partners, as well as the TV channels themselves, have been given clear instructions regarding our policy.
